Production Worker, Texas

PGS Worldwide is seeking Production Workers in McKinney, TX, to support a high-precision microelectronics manufacturing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a cleanroom-based production environment, where you’ll help build components used in critical aerospace and defense systems. If you have strong attention to detail and manual dexterity, we want to hear from you! This is an initial TIME contract-to-hire opportunity, and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.

Job Description:

Perform manual assembly of microelectronic components including fine soldering and detailed part placement

Work under a microscope and operate ovens and semi-automated tools

Follow detailed work instructions using our Factory Operating System (FOS)

Log any nonconformance issues and perform necessary rework

Complete ongoing training in safety, hazardous materials handling, and quality systems

Training Information:

All contractors begin on 1st shift for initial training, regardless of final assigned shift.

Training includes:

Classroom onboarding (~2 days to 1 week)

Daytime On-the-Job Training (OTJ) prior to shift transition

Additional Info:

Onsite only – no remote or hybrid options

Equal pay for all contractors

No security clearance required (Unclassified work)

No relocation or travel requirements

Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship (required due to program compliance)

High School Diploma or GED

(AA/AS or technical certifications are a plus!)

Up to 2 years of experience in electronics or manufacturing

Basic proficiency with math and computers

Able to read engineering drawings and work instructions

Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and time management skills

 

Desired:

Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing environments

Soldering to Military or ANSI/J standards

Familiarity with microelectronic inspection and precision assembly

Quality-focused with strong teamwork and continuous improvement mindset
