Kitting Lead– Manufacturing Facility (Memphis, TN)

Aerotek is hiring a

Kitting Lead

to oversee kitting operations for a manufacturing site in Memphis. This role requires strong accuracy, hands‑on material handling skills, and proven leadership experience.

Shift&Pay

Weekend Day Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday— 5:00 AM–5:30 PM

Pay: $24.15/hr

Weekly Pay

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily kitting activities and ensure all kits are prepared correctly

Break down and reorganize kits based on production needs

Count parts quickly, accurately, and repeatedly throughout the shift

Move and handle materials including bolts, screws, panels, and hardware

Lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis

Maintain inventory accuracy through counting and verification

Support

picking

packing

, loading, and general material handling tasks

Keep work areas organized and follow all safety procedures

Communicate with supervisors and team members to maintain workflow

Required Experience

Team lead or leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, kitting, or material handling environment

Strong

background

in material handling

Experience with kitting

or kitting‑related tasks

Ability to stay detail‑oriented in a fast‑paced environment

Comfortable lifting 50 lbs repeatedly and handling heavy boxes of hardware

Job Type&Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.15 - $24.15/hr.
