Job Types: Part-time, Full-time, on-call Pay: $23-$24 per hour BENEFITS/PERKS Paid time off Holiday Pay Competitive Hourly Pay Fun and Energetic Environment Career Growth Opportunities RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities of the Nail Instructor include, but are not limited to: Teaching engaging lessons, using hands-on, skill-based competency training to the greatest extent possible. Managing and supervising students in the classroom and on the practical floor. Evaluating instruction/learning by means of written, oral practical and performance tests. Maintaining student-oriented approach, and desirable classroom conditions. Checking equipment daily for hazards, ensuring it is maintained and properly repaired. Maintaining accurate and current reports and records regarding student accountability, attendance, and performance. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or equivalent is required Graduation from an accredited Cosmetology School or apprenticeship Valid Arizona State Nail or Cosmetology Instructor's License (Required) No teaching experience is required but is preferred Salon experience is preferred for a minimum of 3 years We appreciate and support our current staff and are equally excited about our new hires.
