Ascend Staffing is hiring Mig Welders in Terrell, TX!

Weekly pay of $19-20 per hour

Weekly Pay

Mig Welder Tasks&Duties

Read and understand blueprints prior to starting a project

Source the materials to be used in theproject

Measure and cut materials to specifications

Weld materials using the correct materials to join the metalstogether

Check finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on theblueprints

Mig Welder Shift Info

Morning shift, 5:00am to 5:00pm availability Night Shift, 2:00 pm to 4:00 am availability

Monday - Friday with some mandatory Saturdays

Mig Welder Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)

Mig Welder experience preferred

Able to work in the US

Knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools

Proven experience as welder

Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MMA etc.)

Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)

Deftness and attention to detail

Proficient in English

Successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is required

AWS welding certificate

Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) a plus
