Industrial Maintenance Manager, Puerto Rico

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Manager in a manufacturing company in the North Area of Puerto Rico. The selected person will lead a skilled maintenance team while helping shift the organization from reactive maintenance to a more proactive preventive and predictive maintenance model. 

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute maintenance and reliability strategies aligned with plant performance, uptime, quality, and safety goals.
- Drive the transition from reactive maintenance to preventive and predictive maintenance practices across production equipment, utilities, and facility systems.
- Implement, optimize, and maintain CMMS systems, preventive maintenance programs, and asset management processes.
- Lead root cause analysis, downtime reduction initiatives, corrective action planning, and equipment reliability improvement projects.
- Manage the maintenance budget, spare parts inventory, vendor relationships, and maintenance-related resources.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary: $80,000 to $85,000 per year.
- Benefits provided.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm
- Job Type: Direct Hire.
- Location: North Area of Puerto Rico

Additional Skills

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related field.
- 5 or more years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, CMMS systems, and Lean principles.
- Proven ability to lead root cause analysis, corrective action planning, and equipment reliability improvement efforts.
- Strong leadership, coaching, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, vendor relationships, maintenance resources, and spare parts inventory effectively.
- Safety-focused mindset with the ability to build accountability and high performance within a maintenance team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience leading maintenance transformation initiatives from reactive maintenance to preventive and predictive maintenance models.
- Experience supporting Lean manufacturing, reliability-centered maintenance, or continuous improvement programs.
- Familiarity with manufacturing utilities, facilities systems, and production equipment reliability best practices.
