Front Desk Receptionist/Medical Assistant, Schofield

Our busy growing office is looking to add a medical receptionist ~ assistant to our Weston Office. The ideal candidate will have medical reception and assisting experience, which includes insurance knowledge.

Our office is growing and needs a detail oriented, multi-tasker who is a team player.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Answering phones
• Scheduling patients
• Collecting copays and answering insurance questions
• Filing/scanning, pulling charts, preparing records for next day

• Knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations
• Medical terminology is a plus
• General office duties
• Greeting patients
• Verifying patient insurance eligibility and benefits
• Entering information into EHR/EMR
• Obtaining patient demographics and history, answering patient questions
• Assisting with exams and procedures
• Performing x-rays
• Prepare rooms between patients, in addition to the maintenance and sterilization of instruments
