Highway Construction Project in Miami, Florida.

Large-scale highway expansion
-Summary:
The Survey Manager will lead and coordinate all surveying operations for a large-scale highway infrastructure project. This role will oversee survey teams, ensure accuracy and compliance across all field and office surveying activities, coordinate with construction and engineering departments, and support project execution throughout all phases of the work. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical surveying expertise with proven leadership and project management capabilities within heavy civil construction environments
-Estimated duration of the position:
48-72 months - In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him/her continuity.
-Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all surveying activities for the project. Supervise field and office survey teams. Coordinate survey operations with construction, engineering, and project management teams. Ensure compliance with project specifications, tolerances, and DOT standards. Oversee control networks, layout, as-builts, quantity verification, and survey deliverables.Manage survey planning and resource allocation. Support construction operations through accurate and timely survey coordination. Review and validate survey data and documentation. Coordinate with subcontractors and external stakeholders when required. Mentor and develop junior survey personnel.Ensure implementation of safety procedures within survey operations. -Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 9 working hours plus a 1hour lunch break. Depending on project needs, occasional Saturday work may be required.

Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Survey Manager in highways/roadways/linear works/heavy civil construction projects or similar. Strong technical expertise in construction surveying. Ability to manage and lead survey teams. Experience coordinating operations in complex projects. Comfortable interacting with Construction Managers, Field Engineers, and project leadership.Strong management mindset and ability to organize survey operations effectively.
