University of Michigan Health - - Responsibilities: Transports lab specimens throughout the Health System maintaining specimen integrity for accurate test results; Transports supplies, biohazard materials, medical records, reports, office deposits, mail, copies, pharmaceuticals, physician jackets, instrument totes, and Oncology Center patients across MyMichigan member hospitals, clinics, and Urgent Care locations including stat runs; Performs basic maintenance checks and maintenance of transportation vehicles, schedules repairs, and maintains log of repairs; Drives in all weather conditions on courier routes 24 hours daily, every day of the year; continually assist with route changes to gain efficiencies within the transportation system
