Overview:
Lakeshore Family Dentistry is looking for a Dental Assistant in Glendale, Wisconsin to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

 

 

Position Overview:
As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. What we offer:

Competitive hourly pay $25hr with prime time pay from 5pm-7pm and Saturdays of $30per hour

Full time: Tuesdays 7am-7pm, Wednesdays 2pm-7pm, Thursdays 7am-7pm, Fridays 7am-3pm, 3rd and 5th Saturdays of each month 8am-3pm

Responsibilities:
Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.

Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.

Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)

Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

Qualifications:
Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program

1 year on-the-job-experience 

Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended

High school diploma or equivalent

Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
