R&d Lab Technician, Milwaukee

Job Title: R&D Lab Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated R&D Lab Technician to join our team. In this role, you will gather raw materials, assemble batches, shade, and perform quality control testing to ensure our products meet strict specifications. You will also be responsible for adjusting batch properties within formulation guidelines and preparing customer samples and panels.Responsibilities

Evaluate batches for conformance to specifications. Adjust properties of individual batches within formulation guidelines. Perform testing related to product performance. Prepare customer samples and panels. Perform all aspects of liquid batches of 10 gallons or less, including dispersion, letdown, color matching, quality control, and filling.Maintain records of processes and results. Document and record all actions taken in preparation of product. Record batch information on appropriate computer programs. Maintain standards for housekeeping and safety. Participate in housekeeping activities, including the proper disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.Essential Skills

Baseline level of education and experience with chemistry. Interest in paints and coatings. Proficiency in laboratory procedures and wet chemistry techniques. Additional Skills&Qualifications

Background in chemistry. Experience working in a laboratory setting. Work Environment You will be working in an R&D Paint and Coating laboratory. The position is scheduled for the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30/4:00 pm. Job Type&Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
