Job Description Ensure that all building systems are organized with air conditioning, heating, appliances and plumbing facilities in good working order Diagnose and repair routine problems such as clogged toilets, leakages, minor electrical problems, etc Identify and complete if possible routine preventive maintenance to reduce the risk of future problemsIn conjunction with the property manager, identify the need for external professionals required to carry out repairs Develop and maintain good working relationships with external professional to ensure that work is completed accurately and at a fair price Respond to and complete tenant maintenance requests on a timely basisDevelop and maintain professional relationships with tenants and ensure that tenant work requests are completed accurately and on a timely basis Proactively identify future maintenance needs and communicate them to the property manager and corporate office Ensure that the property is maintained in asafe manner for tenants, visitors and contractorsRemove unsightly trash if necessary Remove equipment etc. that may be hazardous Ensure that mowing and snow removal and salting are performed promptly and efficiently Ensure that all maintenance, painting and cleaning are done on a timely basis to allow quick turn over of apartments Provide assistance as required to other maintenance technicians, property managers and new hiresCompany Description Team oriented company managing 35 rental properties in Wisconsin and northern Illinois
