Primary Talent Partners has a 12 month contract opening for a Sr. Electrical Engineer to join a multinational medical device company for an onsite position operating out of Minneapolis, MN,
Pay: $55.00/hr - $65.00/hr based on experience
Contract: 12 months, extensions likely, conversion possible
Type: W-2, cannot support C2C or provide visa sponsorship
Summary:
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be an individual contributor within the Neuromodulation Electrical Product Development team. The individual will be responsible for all phases of product development including definition, design, troubleshooting, characterization, and verification of implantable neurostimulators as well as external patient programmers and inductive rechargers. The individual will be an integral part of the R&D organization in delivering the highest quality, life changing technology to our patients.
Responsibilities:
Design and execute test methods to characterize circuit, EM and RF performance, including test automation, and verify adherence to product requirements and/or standards.
Testing will evaluate/confirm stim, sense, recharge, telemetry and MRI performance for implantable neurostimulator devices.
Plan/coordinate activities with cross-functional teams (Released Product Engineering, Systems, Firmware, quality, etc.) and participate in the analysis of product performance using DFSS techniques.
Write test reports.
Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Electrical Engineering.
4+ years of Electrical Product Development experience for Class III medical devices.
Analysis of product performance using DFSS techniques
Experience designing and executing test methods to characterize circuit performance and verifying adherence to requirements including test automation
Experience designing and testing devices in a global regulated environment including EMI/EMC, ISO (phone number removed), ISO/TS 10974, IEC (phone number removed)-33, etc
Electrical engineering skills to design, develop, and debug analog and digital circuitry for implantable medical device product development
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing and executing test methods to characterize Electromagnetic and RF performance, and verifying adherence to standards, product and systems requirements.
Experience validating test scripts, methods and systems experience with transcutaneous wireless power transfer and/or telemetry (inductive and MICS) systems.
