Salary Range: $85K - $100K Permanent Position with Benefits

Blaine, Minnesota area Commercial Construction Firm seeks an experienced Waterproofing Estimator. The Estimator should have experience bidding fluid or sheet waterproofing, sealant, spray foam, and/or traffic coatings.

REQUIREMENTS:

High School, GED, and/or Higher Level of Education preferably in Construction Project Management or Construction Cost Estimation.

Prefer a minimum of (5) years of Estimating experience with Waterproofing methods & types for New Construction Projects and existing structures.

Meet clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal project management team members to determine the scope of the project.

Analyze Blueprints, Specifications, and Proposals to determine accurate Cost Estimates.

Familiar with Construction Estimating Software.

Prepare quantity takeoffs and analyze subcontractor bids for materials, labor, and equipment.

Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and vendors.

Prepare and present cost estimates and detailed project budgets to management and client.

Evaluate project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential cost overruns

Solid verbal and written communications skills to include maintaining accurate records and documentation of estimates, change orders, and project revisions.

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
