Contract: W2, Contract
Duration: 6 months (with potential to extend)
Location: Remote
Pay Range: $35.00-40.00/hour DOE
Brief Summary:
The Instructional Designer will support the development of new eLearning courses and training content for full-time employees and contractors engaged in HEDIS operations. This individual will collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create impactful and engaging training materials using modern instructional technologies.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather and develop training content
Design training solutions to meet learning needs and business objectives
Create self-paced eLearning courses using Oracle LMS and Articulate Storyline 360
Maintain and update SharePoint-based training content and documentation
Review and refine instructional content developed by others
Manage and update learning and communication platforms
Support training rollout and implementation activities
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of instructional design experience, especially with eLearning and self-paced modules
At least 2 years of experience in healthcare or related fields, including HEDIS
2+ years managing digital learning platforms or communication tools
Proven ability to explain and communicate complex systems or procedures clearly
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field
Project management experience
Proficiency in Articulate Storyline 360
SharePoint design and administration skills
Experience with HEDIS software tools and working with HEDIS auditors
Medical record review experience
