About the Role
Our client, a leading healthcare and health insurance organization based in the Midwest, is seeking a Provider Demographic Coordinator to support a high-volume operational need. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate provider data that directly impacts claims processing, network reporting, and overall member and provider experience. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams. This position is well-suited for someone who thrives in a structured, process-driven environment and can manage multiple data-related tasks with a high level of accuracy. Job Description
  • Enter and maintain provider demographic information across multiple databases, including COPIS, COSMOS/NDB, and Symfact
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates to provider records to support claims processing and reporting needs
  • Review, interpret, and process provider demographic requests for optimal data entry across systems
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure data accuracy for members, providers, employer groups, brokers, and regulatory entities
  • Identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies, recognizing and communicating potential downstream impacts
  • Follow established processes and procedures while maintaining compliance with production and quality standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, including updating documentation and supporting training as needed
  • Operate effectively in a production-driven environment with defined performance metrics around quality and turnaround time
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • 1+ year of administrative or data entry experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access)
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Ability to follow complex processes and troubleshoot errors independently
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet production standards
  • Strong communication skills with a professional and collaborative approach
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with provider data or within the healthcare or insurance industry
  • Familiarity with COPIS or similar database systems
  • Experience working in a production-driven or high-volume data environment
Remote Work Requirements:
  • Must maintain a professional, distraction-free work environment
  • Video participation required for all meetings and training sessions
  • Internet speed test required at time of submission (screenshot must be included)
    • Minimum 25+ Mbps download speed
    • Minimum 5+ Mbps upload speed
    • Ping under 100 ms
