Position Summary The Structural Engineer will contribute to the design and documentation of complex medium- to large-scale Mission Critical building structures. This role includes technical leadership, coordination with project managers and senior leadership, design oversight, and opportunities for client interaction. Key Responsibilities Technical Perform work under the direction of the licensed professional engineer of record Manage other design professionals as assigned Conduct structural analysis and design Develop structural detailing with guidance from senior engineers Oversee technical quality for assigned tasks and projects Assist in selecting materials and structural systems Coordinate structural design with other disciplines Produce documentation and calculations on schedule and within budget Support construction administration (RFIs, submittals, site visits, reports) Conduct peer reviews and contribute to internal process improvements Manage multiple Mission Critical projects simultaneously Supervisory Assist in developing work plans and budgets Help manage team workloads Support and lead design working sessions Provide direction to junior team members Contribute to performance feedback and staff development Client Liaison Attend client and consultant meetings Document meeting outcomes and action items Business Development Build relationships with external partners Attend relevant industry and networking events Support proposal and interview efforts for Mission Critical pursuits Qualifications Education BS in Civil or Architectural Engineering (structural emphasis required) MS in Structural Engineering preferred Minimum of 7 years of structural engineering experience EIT Required/ PE Preferred SE license preferred Skills Strong knowledge of building codes Effective communication and interpersonal skills Collaborative mindset with strong problem‑solving ability Why Join This Firm?
