The Laundry Associate is responsible for carrying out the daily laundry operations of the community, including washing, drying, folding, sorting, and distributing resident clothing and community linens. This role helps ensure laundry services are completed efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the laundry areas.We offer: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance AD&D insurance Long-term disability insurance 401(k) with company match Employee assistance program Daily Pay– Work today, get paid today An exceptional work environment that is both engaging and fun *Eligibility for benefit depends on the number of hours worked per week and employment classification.Primary responsibilities include: Collects, sorts, washes, dries, folds, and redistributes resident clothing and community linens Ensures all laundry is processed according to State and Federal regulations Maintains laundry areas in a clean, organized, and sanitary condition Labels and organizes resident laundry appropriatelyReports equipment concerns or supply needs to supervisor Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor Provides courteous and professional service to residents and staff Qualifications include: Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectivelyPrevious laundry or housekeeping experience preferred but not required Ability to frequently stand, bend, and move up to 30 pounds High school diploma or equivalent preferred Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled weekends Compliance with the LCS COVID-19 Policy is required for this position as it is for all LCS Community positions.If you're an enthusiastic, compassionate, senior care professional who is passionate about hospitality and senior engagement- please apply, we'd love to get to know you!
