Civil Engineer - Land Development

Location: South Laguna, CA

Work Model: Onsite; 5 Days a Week

Summary

Our client is looking for a Civil Engineer focused on Land Development to join their team! In this role, you will be integral in designing and preparing plans for various residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. You will also collaborate closely with experienced Project Managers to develop innovative engineering designs, produce detailed plans, and compile comprehensive project reports and studies.

Responsibilities

Create detailed plans, specifications, and documentation for new and existing projects

Conduct thorough analyses and compile reports to meet project objectives and regulatory guidelines

Ensure alignment with relevant codes, regulations, and industry best practices

Collaborate with project managers on engineering designs for various land development projects

Requirements

5+ years of relevant experience in land development

Proficiency in CAD software (Carlson, Civil3D, and/or AutoCAD preferred)

Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective teamwork and client interaction

Proven ability to address challenges with a detail-focused, proactive mindset

Education/Certification Requirements

A Bachelors Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
