Provide Expert Imaging in a Leading Cath Lab

As a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist, you will perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care in a Level II Trauma Center.

Position Summary:

The Cath Lab Radiology Technologist will perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. This role requires a strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and imaging techniques. The technologist will work collaboratively with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.

Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring proper positioning and safety.

Operate imaging equipment effectively and efficiently.

Produce high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation.

Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions.

Maintain accurate and complete patient records.

Adhere to all safety and radiation protection protocols.

Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.

Required Qualifications:

Formal training in radiology procedures or equivalent education/experience.

California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license upon hire.

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography upon hire.

ARRT certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) within 1 year of hire.

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

Participation in a continuing education program.

2 years of experience in special procedures or a Cardiovascular Lab.
