Position Overview
A growing management-side employment practice is seeking a Labor and Employment Associate with at least 2 years of experience to join its Los Angeles office. This role offers meaningful litigation experience, early responsibility, and direct involvement in case strategy and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Represent employers in matters involving discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, and restrictive covenant issues Manage and respond to discovery and oversee the discovery strategy Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda Support depositions, hearings, and trial preparationCollaborate with attorneys on litigation strategy and case development Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties Requirements
J.D. from an accredited law school Active California Bar admission 2+ years of litigation experience, ideally in labor and employment Strong academic credentials and writing ability Ability to independently manage discovery tasks Team-oriented and proactive approach Compensation&Benefits
Base salary range: $205,000 to $240,000 Bonus structure with thresholds at 1920 and 2100 hours Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance 401(k) with employer match Flexible PTO and paid holidays Additional wellness, commuter, and support benefits Work Environment&Growth
