Lifeguard, Lake Forest

Lifeguard Position
The City of Lake Forest is looking for qualified individuals to serve as Lifeguards during the Forest Park Beach **** season.
Lifeguards must have a valid American Red Cross Lifeguarding & Beach Certification.
Lifeguards will be staffed Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.
Examples of duties include:
Ensuring the safety of beach patrons
Preventing injuries and minimizing hazardous situations
Enforcing all facility policies, rules, and regulations
Acting in any emergency situation and staying with victim until help arrives
Responding to patron concerns and inquiries in a professional manner, and documenting incidents/injuries
Recording and maintaining detailed reports
Maintaining facility cleanliness
Conducting safety inspections
Qualifications include:
A valid American Red Cross Lifeguarding & Beach Certification
Ability to work weekends and holidays
Availability from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend
