Job Description A client of Insight Global is currently seeking a skilled engineering professional to join their team and support our Component Repair Cells in optimizing processes and enhancing operational efficiency. In this role, you would be the sole Engineer after training. Responsibilities: - Provide support to the Repair Cells in daily operations by developing production repairs, issuing approved deviations, and furnishing necessary technical instructions. - Initiate, coordinate, and industrialize repairs approved by engine Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). - Update and implement process improvement and cost-reduction programs. - Optimize processes, manage variables, and ensure the effective application of Lean improvements. - Collaborate in the evaluation and selection of new equipment and processes to enhance operational capabilities. - Develop tooling and methodologies for efficient and adaptable repair processes. - Serve as a technical liaison with engine manufacturers and external vendors concerning repair issues. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance in shop floor environment.
