Job Title: Shop Helper Job Description

Join our dynamic team where you will play a crucial role in cutting and fitting various sizes of metal for welders. Your expertise will be utilized in preparing all metal pieces into different jigs, grinding welds, and using blueprints and schematics for product fabrication. Additionally, you will operate 300-ton horizontal presses and ensure the cleanliness of the work area daily. This is a physically demanding role that requires you to be on your feet all day and lift 50 pounds consistently.Responsibilities

Cut and fit various sizes of metal for welders. Prepare metal pieces into different jigs for welders. Grind welds to ensure smooth finishes. Use blueprints and schematics for fabricating products according to orders. Operate 300-ton horizontal presses effectively. Maintain a clean and organized work area daily.Essential Skills

Experience in fabrication and assembly. Proficiency with blueprints and schematics. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Additional Skills&Qualifications

Over 3 years of experience in custom fabrication working off blueprints. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in an unheated machine shop where you will be on your feet for 8+ hours a day. The job requires a strong physical ability to manage demanding tasks in a challenging environment.Job Type&Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anaconda, MT. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
