Position Details:

Position Type: Full Time / Direct Placement

Job Location: Mobile, AL

Benefits: Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision), PTO and Vacation Schedule

Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 salary depending upon experience and qualifications.

Drug and background screenings required

Schedule: Typically, Monday - Thursday, 4- 10 hour days.

Qualifications

Structural Engineer with 3+ years of experience, preferably with at least some experience in the consulting engineering field

Degree in civil or structural engineering

Experience in project management

Ability to efficiently manage company resources to complete projects on time and on budget

Ability to collaborate with a design team (5-10 team members)

Ability to liaise with clients and professionals of other disciplines

Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication skills

Experience & Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Must be physically capable of performing field duties (ex., stairs, walking, lift 50 pounds, hot/cold conditions, sitting for periods, standing for periods, ladders, etc.)

Ability to prepare calculations, designs and drawings

Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction

Inspect properties to evaluate the conditions and foundations

3D modeling for design purposes and the ability to create drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit

Experience with structural engineering software such as RISA, Autodesk Robot, and Enercalc

Must be a self-starter and capable of working with limited guidance

This position to be filled in our Mobile Office

Administer contracts and manage projects

Inspect properties to evaluate the conditions and foundations

3D modeling for design purposes and the ability to create drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit

Experience with structural engineering software such as RISA or Autodesk Robot

Applicant must either have passed FE examination or pass FE within 6 months of starting

Expectation is that the applicant will obtain a PE license within one year of starting

Applicant will have the opportunity to work directly with a licensed engineer
