Customer Service Representative - Saraland, AL
Now hiring an entry-level Customer Service Representative for a busy office in Saraland.
This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity with a Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule.
Starting Pay: $*****/hour
Responsibilities:
Take customer orders by phone, email, fax, and mail
Enter orders accurately and ensure they are processed in a timely manner
Handle a high volume of inbound calls, approximately ******* per day
Provide pricing, product, and delivery information
Monitor orders and confirm shipments occur within ***** hours
Respond to customer questions and resolve issues professionally
Communicate with internal departments and sales representatives to keep customer information updated
Verify account information and check product availability
Perform basic measurement and pricing conversions
Maintain organized records and paperwork
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute, testing required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Good math, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Professional phone manner and positive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
