We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Civil Engineer to join a growing engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience working on infrastructure, land development, and transportation-related projects.
The selected candidate will collaborate with experienced professionals and assist with design, analysis, and project coordination tasks while developing strong technical and professional skills.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with civil engineering design and analysis for projects including roadways, drainage systems, and site development.
Review and apply local, state, and federal engineering design standards to project work.
Prepare drawings, reports, and engineering calculations under senior engineer supervision.
Conduct site visits and inspections to support project planning and development.
Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related engineering software for project design.
Support data collection, feasibility studies, and cost estimating efforts.
Ensure designs comply with applicable regulations, industry standards, and safety requirements.
Assist project teams with coordination and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Experience with stormwater modeling software such as StormCAD, PondPack, HydroCAD, or similar tools.
Ability to prepare stormwater analysis reports.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional engineering environment.
Familiarity with local engineering codes and standards preferred.
EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification or progress toward certification preferred.
