PrideStaff is hiring for an HR Coordinator in Escalon, CA.
Responsibilities Include the Following:
- Utilize HR/Payroll systems to maintain employee records and process HR transactions efficiently. - Assists with the administration of health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Ensures accurate record-keeping and audits deductions. - Provide assistance to employees with HR-related inquiries, ensuring clear communication and a positive work environment.- Assist in resolving employee concerns and conflicts in a professional and timely manner. - Conduct audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommend corrective action. - Coordinate and manage the employee exit process, including conducting exit interviews, processing terminations, and ensuring all company property is returned.- Ensure that all termination procedures comply with legal and company policies. - Assist in performance management processes. - Manage full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, reviewing resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers. - Ensure timely onboarding of new hires, including paperwork, benefits enrollment, and introductions to key staff.• Monitor unemployment and leave of absence claims for legitimacy and process claims.- Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions. - Owns the attendance points process. Escalate when needed. - Assists with the payroll process as needed. - Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with data protection regulations.- Communicates various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations. - Performs other related duties as assigned
Candidate Requirements&Preferences:
- Must have recent, and relevant experience within the past year - Must be able to successfully complete the E-Verify process. - Must be hands-on and comfortable walking the shop floor and interacting with employees at all levels. - A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required to use company vehicles between sites.- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates are strongly preferred, as a large percentage of employees are Spanish-speaking. - Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening - Must be at least 18 years old and able to show proof of eligibility to work in the .
