Located in a welcoming community, this role provides full-time hours (37.5 per week) working with students who benefit from tailored instructional support and care.
Qualifications&Experience Sought:
Valid teaching credential in Special Education or eligibility for California licensure Experience with self-contained classrooms or Moderate to Severe SDC populations preferred Strong understanding of IEP development, individualized instruction, and progress monitoring Excellent communication and organizational skillsCommitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment Adaptability and enthusiasm for collaborating with a multidisciplinary team Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students' individual needs and IEP goals Collaborate with other educators, specialists, and families to support student growth Manage classroom routines and implement behavioral supports as necessary Monitor, document, and communicate student progress to stakeholdersFoster a respectful, safe, and nurturing classroom culture Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school events as required
