Working as Part-time Distribution Center Administration, you will be responsible for completing the onboarding training process for new employees. You will also support various administrative functions at our distribution center located at 4025 Finch Rd, Modesto, CA 95357. Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 6:00am - 12:00pm MON TUE WED THU FRI 11:00am - 5:00pm Up to 28 hours/weekOVERVIEW: Working as Part-time Distribution Center Administration, you will be responsible for completing the onboarding training process for new employees. You will also support various administrative functions at our distribution center located at 4025 Finch Rd, Modesto, CA 95357. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Assisting distribution center managers in posting jobs, completing interviews and documenting appropriately Training and onboarding new employees regarding FSB trainings, time cards, layout of building etc. Completing various administrative tasks such as answering phones, emails and filing Complying with safety regulationsREQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: 18 years of age or over, due to the nature of work Prior administrative/customer service experience OR industry experience and product knowledge Proficient written and oral communication skillsProficient using Microsoft Office Suite Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environmentWork independently as well as in a team environment Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
