Job Title: Server Support Lab Tech

Location: This will start in Mountain View but move to San Jose, CA

Duration: 12 months

Pay Range: $38-$40/hr

Job Description:
We are looking for someone to support our lab automation in partnership with the Infra team. This collaboration will be essential for successful execution of our operational model and delivery of scalable automation. Detailed responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Understanding our product lines and lab tests

* Planning and strategizing for lab needs, including racks and GPS/WiFi/Cellular. Host servers

* Organizing the lab for scalability and effective space utilization, cabling, and rack organization

* Replicating automation setups from the Infra team for multiple configurations

* Reporting on lab health and anticipating hardware failures

* Driving requirements for Infra team support with automation needs

Responsibilities:

* Planning and forecasting similar or expanded lab needs to support test automation

* Collaborating with teams to develop software/hardware systems and methodologies/tools

* Coordinating interactions between labs and engineering

* Familiarity with basic lab setup, including connecting devices and troubleshooting

* Familiarity with shell scripting and Linux commands

* Familiarity with Ansible Automation and/or Puppet for IT Automation
