Senior Construction Manager, Mountain View

Role: Sr. Construction Manager

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (50hrs/week)

Contract Duration: 3 months+ (with a possibility of Contract-to-hire)

Work Hours: PST

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day, Mon-Fri (7am-9am)

Location: 100% Onsite - Palo Alto, CA, USA

Responsibilities:

Come in and go to site for a walk through of project in person

Coordinate with Superintendents

Hold necessary meetings – OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor)

Review estimates

Accountable for estimate to execute within budget (has estimating team)

Daily review of schedule

Manager RFIs and submittals

Procurement for large items - work with GSM

Hold shipments accountable, make sure fit in schedule, no delays

Work with vendors

Execution is more of Super but making sure planning and coordination is done

RFP packages

Must Haves:

Strong overall MEP experience

MUST HAVE STRONG R&D EXPERIENCE

MS Projects

Scheduling is huge - need to be savvy in schedules

Strong scheduling - shut down exp not required

Bluebeam

Rare - exceeding 10 mil projects. As long as they managed projects themselves autonomously. Rather worked on 1mil projects as singular project

Education: BA required

Nice to Haves:

Self perform team experience. If a PM has not done that and only managed GCs, they have a lot of learning to do

Exposure to Self perform is a plus. CSA could be good. We have some office build outs and restroom buildouts. There are some less MEP heavy

IF strong CSA - share is ok as long as MEP is involved in those projects
