Position Overview

Role: Clinical Research Assistant

Location: Onsite (5 days/week, occasionally 1 remote)

Contract Length: 6 months with possible extension(s)

Focus: Clinical studies supporting medical device and wearable technology development

Pay: $45-$50/hr. 

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Execute end-to-end clinical studies under IRB protocol

Tasks include: protocol development, clinical documentation, training sites, data collection, and clinical data manual writing

Work with investigational wearable sensor devices (hands-on use + setup)

Validate features on devices related to sleep, cardiac, and hearing health

Operate and maintain physiological data collection equipment

 

Must-Haves

2+ years of clinical research experience (academic or industry)

Experience with human subject research, data collection, clinical protocols

Familiarity with IRB and HIPAA compliance

Experience interpreting physiological signals (ECG, PPG, SpO2, etc.)

Strong documentation and medical/clinical writing experience

 

Nice-to-Haves

Background in sleep research

Engineering background (preferred)

Matlab or Python skills

Basic statistics knowledge

Experience working with mobile sensors/wearables

Exposure to: AWS, EDCs, Excel, MS Office, Teams
