Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Oversee alarms, fire and security systems, access control, CCTV, CJIS Terminal, CLETS, and more.
Track and record all incidents with a chronological listing.
Maintain communication with local and county dispatch centers, request mutual aid resources, and notify affected jurisdictions of events.
Handle 911 emergency calls and the Telephone Device for the Deaf (TDD).
Be available for flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and remain on call for emergency duty.
As assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Certifications:
ICS-100, ICS-200, NIMS IS-700, POST Basic Dispatch Academy, and First Aid/CPR or BLS certification required prior to appointment.
Skills:
Knowledge of standard office practices, report preparation, and emergency communication systems.
Proficient with computers and MS Office applications.
Requirements:
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license and be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
Must have no record or history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture during the previous five years.
