Contract Project Overview

Design System is the central source for components, styles, tokens, and templates that product and partner teams use to create and deliver features. We are focusing on improving the native app experience with an initiative to create cohesive, high-quality user experiences that feel intuitively native and modern. To support this effort, we are updating our design system resources for both native app and web to ensure they follow native app best practices and excellent motion design.

Deliverables Evaluate and update components based on native app best practices rubric (Appyness) Create design specifications for both web and native app components in collaboration with the design system team and partners Take components through the established process for design review and approval, incorporating feedback and making updates along the wayPartner with engineering to update components based on specs Collaborate with the design system team to ensure component updates are accurately documented in Figma libraries and design system guidelines website (Carbon) Qualifications

Experience with native app design is a must Experience with web design is a bonus Proficiency with Figma and working with shared Figma libraries Strong attention to detail, communication, and collaboration Experience contributing to mature design systems including component design, documentation, and educationWorking knowledge of semantic design and design tokens Experience with accessibility standards Experience with/knowledge of motion design
