Accounting Manager
Our client, a publicly traded technology company in the Bay Area, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support the team during a transitional period.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the month-end and quarter-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, consolidations, intercompany activity, and financial reporting support
Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and SOX controls to support a scalable public company environment
Partner closely with cross-functional teams including FP&A, Tax, Legal, and Accounts Payable to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Coordinate external audit activities, manage PBC requests, and ensure audit deliverables are organized and completed on schedule
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline workflows, improve reporting accuracy, and reduce manual effort
Support special projects and ad hoc accounting initiatives as the organization continues to grow and evolve
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a blend of public accounting and industry experience preferred
Strong understanding of US GAAP and experience applying accounting guidance in a dynamic business environment
Experience managing close processes and working within ERP systems; NetSuite experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with SOX compliance and maintaining effective internal controls in a public company setting
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required;
Self-starter with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a process improvement mindset
