We're currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Accounting Clerk to support our accounting operations.
Position Summary
The Part-Time Accounting Clerk will perform a variety of accounting and administrative duties to support our business office.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process and post accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Reconcile daily cash, checks, and credit card payments
Assist with month-end closing and journal entries
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies
Provide administrative support to the Controller and the office team
Qualifications
Prior accounting or bookkeeping experience required; automotive dealership experience is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
Work Schedule
