Service Advisor / Writer
Hillsboro Ford is currently seeking a Service Advisor / Writer to join our Service team! Hillsboro Ford is a family run business with a focus on exceptional customer satisfaction. We are looking for a motivated individual that genuinely cares about the customer. Someone who works well with others, who is friendly and has the desire to succeed.Service Advisor Responsibilities:
Greet customers promptly Obtain customer and vehicle information Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage and history of vehicle Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts Establish follow up timeMonitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order Explain all completed work and charges to customers Service Advisor Requirements:
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus Ability to identify the problem quickly Knowledge of automobiles Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant Very energetic personality A desire for a long-term career with a growing organizationPersonal and professional integrity Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications Minimum of 1 year in service department Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer skills Positive, friendly attitude High school diploma or equivalent Service Advisor Compensation and Benefits:
