Internal Medicine Physician, California

Position Summary

Join our team as a Physician, where you will manage and provide acute, chronic, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative medical care to patients. You will determine appropriate regimens in specialized areas such as family practice, internal medicine, and geriatrics. Experience in transitions of care, chronic disease management, advanced goals of care discussions, and palliative management is essential. We are also expanding our programs and are interested in Specialty Physicians in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, OBGYN, and Pediatrics.

Position Requirements

Education Required: Graduate from an accredited school of Medicine

Certifications/Licenses Required: Current CA MD or DO and DEA license, CPR/BLS certification, Board certified or eligible in primary care specialty

Preferred: ACLS certification

Experience: Completion of clinical training

Preferred Experience:

1 year post completion of clinical training

Employment in a community health center

Experience working with the elderly population

Verbal and Written Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, Medical Spanish

Technical Knowledge and Skills Preferred: Skin biopsy, excision of skin lesions, suturing, casting, sigmoidoscopy, and phlebotomy
