Business Analyst, New Brunswick

Role Overview:

The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements for the Azure service project. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure the solution meets business objectives and aligns with operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Elicit, document, and analyze business and technical requirements.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and success criteria.

Work closely with the technical team to translate business needs into functional specifications.

Identify process improvements and recommend optimal solutions.

Create detailed business requirement documents (BRD), user stories, and workflow diagrams.

Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure requirements are met.

Act as a liaison between business users and the technical team.

Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or cloud-based projects.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Experience with Azure services and cloud computing concepts.

Proficiency in business analysis tools such as Microsoft Visio, Jira, or Azure DevOps.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and requirement gathering techniques.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
