Job Summary The Production Operator is responsible for moving freight, stock, materials, and products within manufacturing, storage, and production areas. This role supports production operations by following work orders, handling materials safely, operating equipment as needed, maintaining accurate records, and following cGMP, safety, and standard operating procedures.Job Responsibilities Attach identifying tags to containers or mark containers with required information.
Read work orders and follow oral or written instructions to determine work assignments, materials, and equipment needs.
Record units handled and moved using daily production sheets or work tickets.
Move freight, stock, and materials to and from storage areas, production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, and containers.
Sort cargo before loading and unloading.
Assemble product containers and crates using hand tools and precut lumber.
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, including trucks, tractors, winches, or hoisting devices.
Pack containers and repack damaged containers.
Transport tools and supplies from storage areas or trucks and return them after use.
Operate pharmaceutical manufacturing, packaging, or labeling equipment as required.
Follow cGMP regulations, Master Formulas, work instructions, and SOPs.
Follow workplace health and safety requirements for applicable hazardous substances.
Job Requirements High school diploma or GED required.
2 to 4 years of experience in a cGMP manufacturing facility required, preferably in a clean room environment.
2 to 4 years of experience operating pharmaceutical manufacturing, packaging, or labeling equipment required.
Knowledge of cGMP regulations required.
Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to read and understand Master Formulas, work instructions, and SOPs.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements for applicable hazardous substances.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and safety practices.
