Maintenance A - Plumber
Maintenance A - Plumber is responsible for the major, common, and preventative maintenance repair related to a variety of school plumbing services as assigned by Supervisor or designee.
Successful candidates should possess a thorough knowledge of the tools, techniques and terminology of the plumbing trade.
Characteristic duties include routine and major plumbing maintenance, trouble-shooting, repairs and preventative maintenance related to their demonstrated craft.
Participate in maintenance operations other than their demonstrated skill when needed.
Manages maintenance requests as assigned by the supervisor or their designee through Brightly Work Order Solutions.
Utilizes Brightly Work Order Solutions to evaluate, complete, update progress and match work order assignments with proposals and invoices.
Responsible for layout and leadership on complex and major plumbing maintenance projects requiring subordinate maintenance personnel, collaboration with facilities or assist third party trades partner.
Shows leadership ability as well as capability to instruct others in the demonstrated craft skill.
Operates equipment as required.
Other related duties as assigned may include but not limited to support for carpentry, doors and locks, electrical, HVAC, grounds, custodial; snow removal and minor capital projects.
