My client, a non for profit located in Caldwell, New Jersey is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their firm. The firm has been in existence since the 1930’s and offers significant opportunity for growth.

Responsibilities of the Senior Staff Accountant:

Review and analyze budget, identifying budget issues and providing solutions.

Projecting financial trends including annual forecasts

Assist with preparation of operating and salary budget

Monitoring of annual grants and transactions in compliance with fund requirements

Maintain accounting records for endowment and restricted and unrestricted funds

Assist with audit preparation

Experience Preferred for the Senior Staff Accountant

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance a plus

Non-profit experience a plus

Experience with Jenzabar major plus

Excellent communication skills&attention to detail
