Located in the Long Wharf neighborhood of New Haven, BLDG will serve innovative cuisine crafted with stylish American Flair. The flavors and atmosphere showcased at BLDG will take their inspiration from the Connecticut Farms and Atlantic Ocean, an ideal complement for the high energy inherent to the Hotel?s location. As with the best American cuisine, the freshest and most simple local ingredients will be combined to create delicious full-flavored dishes creatively presented and appealing to the contemporary palate.
The Hotel Marcel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton The Hotel Marcel is a historic rehabilitation and adaptive reuse of the mid-century modern Armstrong Rubber Company Building aka Pirelli Building, originally designed by Marcel Breuer in 1967. The building will be sustainable with LEED Platinum certification, solar power from the rooftop, parking canopy arrays to provide 100% of electricity for lighting, heating and cooling, electric car charging stations and much more. The hotel is slated to be the first Passive House certified hotel and the first net-zero energy hotel in the United States.

Position Summary: The Bartender is responsible for overseeing bar and serving guests drinks and food while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a profitable operation. Assist and approach all guests in a sincere, courteous and service-oriented manner, and whenever possible, go the extra mile to ensure total guest satisfaction. Qualifications:

• Ability to attend to guests, associates and management in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner which requires strong customer service as well as written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and communicate in English to adequately perform the duties of the job.
• Previous Bartending experience preferred.
• Must complete TIPS or state specific training.
