Title: Master Production Scheduler

Location: West Haven, CT 

Duration: Full Time

Work Model: 05 Days onsite

Pay Rate: 100K/Year on w2

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage production schedules to balance demand, resources, and costs.

Use MRP planning systems to generate material requirements based on forecasts and inventory.

Work closely with production teams to improve machine efficiency and capacity planning.

Create backup plans to address production constraints and ensure smooth operations.

Analyze production data and metrics to enhance workflows and efficiency.

Monitor material availability, inventory levels, and supplier performance to prevent disruptions.

Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to align production with business goals.

Lead meetings to provide updates, address challenges, and suggest improvements.

 

Required Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of production schedules, capacity planning, and material requirements.

Proficiency with planning tools, ERP systems, and MRP software (JDE knowledge is a plus).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.

Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
