Description
Our client is a busy property management company with over 300 residential/commercial units is seeking full time, experienced office assistant and leasing agent to join their team!

Qualifications:

Outstanding organizational, communicative, administrative skills

Self-motivated and hard working

Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)

Leasing/property management experience a plus

Valid CT driver's license and own vehicle

Bilingual a plus- Spanish

Duties and responsibilities:

Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria (ask pre-qualification questions, utilize completed guest cards, etc)

Answer phones, take accurate messages & forward appropriately

Interact with tenants, receive payments & lease renewals

Final inspections on available "market ready”

Update vacancy listings as needed

Schedule & show apartments using own vehicle

Process applications for prospective tenants- credit & background checks

Ensure apartment and paperwork is ready for resident to move-in (signed lease, move in funds paid, copies of keys, etc)

Assist in monitoring renewals. Distribute and follow up on renewal notices

Handle maintenance requests, tenant concerns and comments, refer them as appropriate

Draft and type letters

File management

Social media postings

Represent the company in a professional manner at all times

Hours:

Monday through Friday - 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Some evenings or Saturdays as required
