Title: IT - Service - Associate OneSource Service Support Specialist
Location: Regional Description (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract
Compensation:
Pay Range:$19.11-$27.30/Hrs
Description:
• Provide first-line support to the scientific community to minimize disruption.
• Facilitate communication and issue resolution with laboratory service providers.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair scheduling with lab staff.
• Assist in the decommissioning and onboarding of laboratory instruments.
• Participate in improvement initiatives related to service assignments.
• Manage inventory activities using asset management tools.
• Handle the preparation and shipment of lab equipment for service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with staff to ensure quality and compliance in the laboratory.
• Maintain and archive laboratory documentation.
• Communicate with lab users regarding site service impacts.
• Cross-train and provide backup for other lab support areas as needed.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 0-2 years of experience in a customer service-focused role.
• Associates Degree and experience in the pharma or chemical industry preferred.
• Understanding of GLP/GxP and 5S principles is desirable.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Ability to drive process improvements and work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and a service-oriented attitude.
