A premier Custom Aerospace Components Manufacturer in Branford, CT, is seeking a results-driven Customer Service Manager (CSM). As the CSM, you will lead a team of Customer Account Managers (CAMs) to ensure high-quality service, strong commercial execution, and seamless alignment between customer backlog and internal production schedules. - Leadership: Manage and develop the Customer Account Management team, providing daily direction on order entry and priorities.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the quoting process, price lists, and the alignment of customer backlog with production and shipping schedules.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Engineering, and Finance to balance customer commitments with cost control and margin objectives.
- Process Improvement: Drive ERP optimization to streamline manual tasks and improve response times for quotes and order status.
- Reporting: Manage performance metrics and provide ad-hoc reports to support business development and annual planning.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience, ideally in a build-to-order manufacturing environment (Aerospace experience highly preferred).
- Management: 3+ years of leadership experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office; ability to interpret complex technical specifications.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with quality certification environments and highly regulated industries.
- Education: BS in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
