Occupational Therapy Department Graduate Assistantship

Selected candidates will: Support to students and faculty in the area of OT Process in Adults and Older Adults (OTM/OTD 524&524L). Support to students and faculty in the area of Biomechanics Lab (OTM/OTD 528L). Support the department with administrative duties and scholarly endeavors. Qualifications: Completed coursework in Occupational Therapy (OT, MOT, or OTD) Have reliable transportation to the North Haven CampusA strong ability to assume professional position of mentorship on behalf of OT peers. An expressed desire to actively partake in the teaching\learning process on behalf of student success&\or the pursuit of research and other scholarly endeavors. A demonstrated engagement in teaching\learning (ie.: tutoring)&\or scholarship is preferred. A strong ability to complete faculty-assigned tasks given distant supervision in a timely fashion. Ability to lift up to 10lbs as necessary (moving equipment to prepare for labs).
