Production Technician | Night Shift

Hours: 6:00 pm to 6:00 am Type: Full-Time Industry: Manufacturing Our client is looking for a responsible Production Technician in a temp to hire position with our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need a minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.Principle Duties

Blending raw material per formula and recording inventory usages in the database; notifying operators of any blending and/or equipment issues. Cleaning all blending equipment. Removing film rolls from winder, labeling and packaging rolls, and preparing skids for shipping. Entering production-related data into the manufacturing database.Assisting in start-up and changeovers of the blown-film line. Assisting in the cleaning and assembling of dies and air rings. Performing and recording preventative maintenance as scheduled. Performing in-process inspections visually and/or utilizing measuring tools. Reporting non-conformances to the operators and working with them to resolve the cause(s) of the defect(s).Communicating and cooperating with supervisors and coworkers. Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe environment around all work areas and equipment. Safely operating all manufacturing machinery and equipment, inspection tools, and material handling equipment; and reporting any issues to supervisors.Requirements

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
