About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to serve as a transformative leader during a critical period of growth and heightened national importance for reproductive health care. The COO will be responsible for driving operational excellence, enhancing access to care, and strengthening the organization's impact. This executive will oversee a broad operational portfolio, including frontline clinical operations, care coordination, facilities, security, and quality management. The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to reproductive freedom, health equity, and social justice, and will be expected to lead with resilience, sound judgment, and a people-centered approach. Key responsibilities for the COO include strategic leadership, operational excellence, clinical operations leadership, growth and innovation, and a strong focus on health equity and community impact.
The successful candidate will be a strategic, operationally sophisticated, and mission-driven healthcare executive with at least 10 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience. They should have a proven track record in leading complex, multi-site healthcare operations, driving performance, and leading change initiatives. Strong financial and business acumen, as well as the ability to use data and analytics to inform decision-making, are essential. The COO will also be responsible for fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous learning, and must have exceptional relationship-building skills to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced degree in a related field, and experience in reproductive, women's, or community health, as well as with telehealth and integrated care delivery, is highly valued.
